Kitchen KingsA Kenney Construction Division

Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually does the work?

Kitchen Kings is a division of Kenney Construction — the same licensed, insured, and bonded company (VA DPOR #2705187519) handles the work, not a subcontracted third party.

What areas do you serve?

Herndon, Reston, Great Falls, McLean, Vienna, Ashburn, Sterling, Aldie, Oakton, Chantilly, Centreville, and South Riding, Virginia.

What are your hours?

Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

Do you provide written estimates?

Yes — every project gets a written scope so you know what's included before work starts.

Should I reface my cabinets or replace them?

If the existing cabinet boxes are square, solid, and in a layout you want to keep, refacing — new doors, drawer fronts, and matching veneer — costs less than full replacement. If the boxes are damaged or the layout is changing, replacement makes more sense. We evaluate your cabinets on-site before recommending either.

Do I need to move out during a kitchen remodel?

It depends on scope. A full remodel typically leaves the kitchen unusable for part of the project, while a targeted update (countertops, refacing) usually doesn't. We'll walk through what to expect for your specific project before work starts.

What's the difference between a full remodel and a kitchen update?

A full remodel changes the layout, cabinetry, countertops, and finishes together as one project. A kitchen update targets specific elements — like countertops or cabinet refacing — without changing the layout.

How do I request a kitchen estimate?

Call (703) 731-9208 or submit the online estimate form and we'll follow up to schedule a time.
